Replacement Notes

  • MS1836C is a P2P replacement for MS1836S; use MS1836C for new designs.
  • MS1852 is the recommended new-design part, replacing MS1850 / MS1851.

Selection Notes

  • VGA to Video (PC to TV/recording): MS1830 is feature-complete; for plug-and-play multi-scenario use without external MCU setup, choose MS1835.
  • HD source to analog monitor/recording: MS1836C integrates HD receive and SD encode with audio and OSD.
  • Analog camera / STB to VGA display: MS1852; do not use MS1850/MS1851 in new designs.
  • Analog source to HD TV/projector: MS1858E; master mode supports EEPROM customization, slave mode for external I²C control.
  • MS1830 vs MS1835: similar signal chain; MS1835 integrates MCU to reduce system software burden, MS1830 requires external control logic.
