MS1836C HD to CVBS/S-Video Single-Chip Converter
The MacroSilicon MS1836C is a single-chip HD to CVBS/S-Video converter with an integrated MCU and memory. The input side is an HD receiver; the output side is an NTSC/PAL encoder and 10-bit video DAC. It supports analog stereo audio output, OSD, video enhancement, 3D noise reduction, and brightness/chroma/saturation/sharpness adjustment.
The chip uses a zero-configuration design to reduce BOM and software development cost.
Selection Notes
MS1836C is a P2P (pin-to-pin) replacement for MS1836S. New designs should use MS1836C instead of MS1836S.
