Design Notes

  • The public product page specifies a maximum capability of 4K@60Hz. Validate practical input/output combinations, color depth, color format, and HDCP mode against system bandwidth and the selected configuration.
  • Products using HDCP encryption or decryption must comply with applicable licensing and key-management requirements.
  • The device uses multiple power rails. PCB design should account for power sequencing, power integrity, integrated-DDR requirements, and high-speed audio/video signal integrity.
  • Confirm drivers, firmware, register programming, and reference designs against the latest authorized MacroSilicon documentation.
