A5200 4K UHD Decode SoC
A5200 is a 1.2 GHz HiChip A-series flagship multimedia SoC with up to 256 MB @1333 Mbps external DRAM, SPI/NAND boot, and H.264 @4K 30 fps decode. It provides HD input, HD output / VGA / CVBS display, RMII Ethernet, and SDIO 3.0/eMMC 4.4 on Linux/RTOS in an ELQFP176 package.
HiChip does not currently publish a dedicated A5200 product page. Parameters below are from the A series parameter library.

Design Notes
- Rare A-series combination of 4K decode + HD input + CVBS display for complex AV routing.
- Higher I/O and package cost than A5100; skip HD input if not needed.
- Integrated-DRAM A5001 simplifies BOM but lists RTOS only and uses a smaller package.
