MS2107 USB2.0 Analog Video And Audio Capture IC

The MacroSilicon MS2107 is a video and audio capture IC integrating a USB 2.0 controller, data transceiver, video ADC, audio ADC, and audio/video processing modules. It transfers CVBS, S-Video, and audio signals over USB to PCs, smartphones, and tablets for preview or capture.

MS2107 output supports YUV422 and MJPEG modes and is compatible with Windows, Android, and macOS systems. It targets USB capture products for legacy analog video sources.

Selection Notes

MS2100E, MS2106E, and MS2106SE are not recommended for new designs. Use MS2107 for CVBS/S-Video analog video USB capture.

Design Notes

  • MS2107 targets analog video capture. Confirm the target signal standard, audio-input mode, and host UVC / UAC compatibility during selection.
  • 1920 x 1080 @ 30Hz output usually depends on MJPEG mode. Practical frame rate and quality should be validated against USB bandwidth, host performance, and compression configuration.
  • Analog video input is sensitive to routing, grounding, noise immunity, and front-end protection. PCB design should follow authorized hardware guidance.
