MS1858E CVBS/S-Video to HD Video Converter
The MacroSilicon MS1858E is a single-chip CVBS/S-Video to HD video converter. It integrates dual 9-bit video ADCs, a 24-bit audio ADC, and an HD 1.3 transmitter, plus 3D video decoding, high-quality OSD, and memory. It supports video scaling, frame-rate conversion, and interlaced/progressive conversion.
Master/slave modes are supported: in master mode, the internal controller and EEPROM customize behavior; in slave mode, an external controller operates the chip via I2C. The MCUSEL pin selects the mode.
